After the 1980s, this technology was promoted in China and widely used due to its stable treatment effect, simple process flow, convenient operation and management, and strong resistance to impact loads.

At present, the horizontal push flow surface aeration equipment used in the oxidation ditch sewage treatment system is still mainly aeration brush, but it has problems such as limited variety specifications and poor performance, and is only suitable for oxidation ditches with a water depth of 3.0-3.5 meters, resulting in a large area occupied by oxidation ditches. At the same time, due to the weak oxygenation and flow capacity of the equipment, mud is prone to accumulate at the bottom of the ditch, making it difficult to meet the needs of oxidation ditches, especially large ones.

The ZP-1400 oxidation ditch aerator developed by our company is a specialized horizontal push flow aeration equipment suitable for oxidation ditches, with strong mixing ability, strong driving force, and high oxygenation efficiency.

This device is a horizontal axis surface oxygenation push flow mechanical aerator, consisting of an aeration turntable, a horizontal shaft, two end bearings, an electric motor, and a reducer. The output shaft of the reducer is connected to the horizontal shaft through a coupling, driving it to rotate. The aeration turntable is the core component, made of lightweight, high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and water-resistant polymer composite material fiberglass die-casting. The overall structure is reasonable, lightweight, and strong, with trapezoidal protrusions and circular pits on the surface, which can enhance oxygen filling, strengthen bubble cutting, and push the mixed liquid. The horizontal axis is made of thick walled seamless steel pipe, and the surface is treated with special fiberglass anti-corrosion treatment; The driving unit adopts a direct coupled conical cylindrical gear reducer, equipped with a vertical outdoor motor, and can also be equipped with a variable speed driving motor according to user needs to adjust the speed according to oxygen demand.

The circular aeration turntable consists of two semi-circular components, which are fixed to the horizontal shaft by stainless steel bolts. The clamp ring at the connection with the horizontal shaft is equipped with an annular groove, which is filled with oil resistant and anti-aging rubber pads to enhance its firmness. Each turntable can be independently disassembled and assembled, making it easy to adjust the installation density and achieve the required oxygenation capacity of the whole machine. This device is installed in a three ditch oxidation ditch for sewage biological treatment: when the aeration turntable runs at high speed, it can evenly diffuse air into the water body, maintaining a long-term stable oxygenation effect; When running at low speed, it can promote the water flow in the oxidation ditch, meet the requirements of the anoxic process for this section of sewage, and avoid the sedimentation of activated sludge.
